The Yurt is situated in the top field of our lovely little farm, in its
own paddock with views over our mares, foals and lambs - with visits from
ducks, chickens and maybe our peacock! The Yurt has only one 'neighbour'
a good distance away, the Shepherd's
Hut, which may also be rented independently or together with the Yurt.
Access is via a little woodland path, 50 yards from our farm entrance,
a gentle stroll up a tiny lane, so you have no pollution or noise from
any vehicles. We have designed the Yurt in contemporary style with a separate
shower unit with loo, washbasin etc nearby, just a short stroll away lit
by solar lights at night.
Prices vary according to the season and length of stay, we are also happy
to accommodate you for one or two night visits. Low Rate £395, Medium
Rate £495, High Rate £595 (per week) One night stay £100
(not in July or August). Friday to Friday changeover for weekly bookings,
but we are flexible and try to help!
We are happy to get any shopping in for you, just let us know! Free range
eggs on the house, hens permitting of course!!! Electricity is included
in the price. Late availability and special offers are often available,

Sleeps 2 - No pets
Fully carpeted with added rugs and warm blankets.
Electricity for lighting, TV, kettle, etc...
Microwave and full size fridge and freezer compartment available nearby.

Pretty lighting, including twinkly dragonflies over the luxury bed - complete with hotel white linen and lots of cushions to relax on and lots of fluffy white towels.
Wardrobe with hanging space, camping kitchen with complete set of cutlery, plates etc and a gas camping stove.
Table and two chairs inside for dining in and wooden garden chairs outside on the balcony.
Superb logburner with logs provided (kettle on top).
Two windows that can be opened either with mesh only, or a plastic covering and a secure wooden door.
The main feature is the huge dome above the bed to view the dark skies and stars at night, we have no light pollution.
Outside – a chimenea to sit beside and either BBQ or just chill out in the evening and absorb the wonderful views, birds and wildlife. Comfortable fold away camping chairs and table.
The location is near to Lyme Regis, 5 minutes in the car and close to River Cottage HQ (taxis always available). There are lots of wonderful eating places and country pubs nearby, either on the coast or inland. Good local produce at nearby farmshops. A walkers paradise.
